And We Waltz With Water (2019) is a mosaic mural which was created for Lamar University’s new Science & Technology Building. The mosaic depicts a meditative scene of water, air, and vegetation, detailing the relationship between the three on both representational and microscopic levels. The mural looks over the new building and thematically engages to the courses taught within it. The tiny interconnected tiles depicting this wetland biome tap into our collective unconscious and cyclical patterns of life.
