Mosaics have been found to reduce stress as seemingly disparate fragments come together to form a single greater whole.  Walls are ideal for glass mosaic as it can be viewed both from a distance and up close employing the natural magnetism of mosaics.  From a distance the mural would appear as a near photographic representation of the landscape.  As one moves closer, the surface of 200,000 hand-cut, hand-placed jeweled glass tiles becomes apparent.  The visible intensity of effort inspires reflection and meditation.  Mosaics are the perfect medium for this high traffic area.  Surviving mosaics of ancient cultures bear witness to their durability as well as their beauty. They are very low maintenance, and can be cleaned with mild soap and water.
